Independent client-side project and facilities management for clubs, RSLs and hospitality operators across Sydney and the Gold Coast.
Your interests. Our discipline. Every stage.
Trusted by the operators who run them.
Hunter FPM is engaged by asset owners and operators, not by builders or architects. That changes everything about how a project gets managed. We test every recommendation against one question: does this protect the client’s interest? When the answer is unclear, we tell you before we tell anyone else.
We have spent two decades managing capital projects and complex facilities inside the hospitality sector. We know what vendors actually cost, what programmes can realistically absorb, and how to protect quality when budgets tighten. We replace the need for a $80,000 to $95,000 building manager without the overhead, the expertise gaps, or the conflicts of interest.
Delivered as client-side project manager across hospitality, commercial and medical assets.
A 2,000-seat theatre delivered inside an active entertainment precinct, constructed while the surrounding venue continued to trade. The largest single project in Hunter FPM’s portfolio, and a case study in delivering capital works without compromising live operations.
A complete refurbishment of the lounge and outdoor courtyard while the club remained open to members. Independent contract administration through delivery, defect close-out and handover, including holding the head contractor accountable for documentation rigour at completion.
Repositioning of a heritage bowling club into a contemporary 180-seat dining venue, retaining the bowling greens and the social character of the original facility. End-to-end design coordination, authority approvals and contract administration on behalf of Norths Collective.
New patron amenities and staff facilities built directly adjacent to an active gaming floor. The construction programme was set against the trading calendar so that gaming yield was protected throughout the works. Five design disciplines coordinated on a compressed schedule.

UK facilities management, Dubai luxury delivery, Australian hospitality.
Robert Hunter’s route into construction was unconventional and deliberate. He began in facilities management across the UK, learning buildings from the inside, how they actually run, what breaks, and where owners were being failed by their builders. He moved to Dubai to deliver ultra-luxury villas for a major private developer and to start up an in-house FM capability. Since relocating to Australia in 2010, he has led the delivery of complex capital projects for West HQ, including the $100M Sydney Coliseum Theatre and the $30M Aquatic Centre.
Hunter FPM was established in 2018 to address a specific gap: independent, senior-level project and facilities management for the club and hospitality sector. Today the practice operates from offices in North Sydney and on the Gold Coast, holds $20M public liability and $10M professional indemnity insurance, and maintains an integrated quality, WHS and environmental management system. Every engagement is led by Robert personally.
